The weekend of August 3-4 WAKO USA Coaches and fighters from across the area traveled to Rockford, IL for another WAKO USA Kickboxing Camp and Team USA Tryouts. The camp featured lots of excellent talent with many of the participants having won amateur and professional national titles. The camp also attracted the next generation of kickboxers looking to train with and learn from the best fighters from across the country. Saturday’s training session was led by Team USA Coach, Chris Cichon and focused on pad drills and sparring drills. The Sunday training session focused on sparring as many fighters were paired up by size/experience to capitalize on so much talent being under the same roof at one time.
The next WAKO USA camp is being scheduled for Minneapolis, MN in September. We will post more information in the coming weeks.
