 SUMMARY

Divisions:

Semi- Contact (Point Fighting)
Light Contact (Continuous Fighting)
Full Contact
Low Kick
Thai Kick
Musical Forms/Weapons
Aero Kickboxing

Age Rule:

Competitor competes in the appropriate age according to year of birth

Age Divisions:

Veterans - 35 to 45
Seniors - 19 to 45
Juniors - 16 to 18
Older Cadets - 13 to 15
Younger Cadets - 10 to 12

Competitors can move one division up, but once they move they cannot move back to their original age division

Other:

  • You must have a WAKO Sports Pass and a Medical Release to Compete
  • In World Championships you must be a member of your country's team, and you must be a citizen of the country you are representing
  • Minors MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian
  • In Semi-Contact and Light-Contact each fight is 3 rounds of 2 minutes each (10 point lead)
  • In weapons the amount of releases is limited, please check the rules
  • In Forms and Weapons "non-martial arts moves (gymnastics)" are limited, please review rules carefully
